Employee Initiatives Activity Procedures

XanGo Goodness encourages all XanGo employees to take an active part in charitable and community activities and events.

Participating in cause-related ventures enriches the human experience and raises social awareness.

Working together as employees also creates a sense of community and gives a sense of pride to all involved.

THE PROGRAM

XanGo Goodness has set up the following procedures to provide opportunities for employees to be involved with XanGo Goodness:

  • Each employee will be given 2 hours per month of paid service time, to be utilized during his/her regular work hours.
  • Each employee must seek approval of the 2-hour service time from his/her respective department manager/supervisor.
  • The 2 hours will be paid time, however XanGo will not reimburse for any additional costs (e.g. mileage).
  • Individual employees and Department heads are welcome to submit suggestions for a group or department charitable/community activity.
  • For all approved department participation or department projects, the department head must coordinate and carry-out the details of the project.
  • All employee charitable activities/events that make up the 2-hour service time must be approved first by the Goodness Employee Initiative committee.
  • After participation in the project, each employee will fill out an Experience Evaluation Form.
    • The experiences submitted may be considered for use on the XanGo Goodness website as a spotlight story or for media purposes.
    • Use of experiences is to be determined by the PR department.
