Japan: Housing Families with Seriously Ill Children
This feature requires Flash Player 7 or higher. Please upgrade here.
The Yokohama Family House began eight years ago when a Japanese couple decided to offer the three spare rooms in their house as temporary lodging for families of seriously ill children as they receive vital medical attention in a nearby hospital. This simple beginning has now become an organized effort, and the home, a fully functioning facility. In the summer of 2007, XanGo helped sponsor a piano concert fundraiser for the organization and announced a considerable donation in support of the charity’s plans to construct a new Yokohoma Family House.
